Snow!

Post by Eric B »

We drove for hours and found decently deep snow (2-5 inches) just west of Bismarck... but there was no wind in the evening. We camped out by some ancient abandoned house, and when we woke up (very early), the wind was great. Unfortunately, we had to drive back for classes immediately... so there was a lot of driving and no snowkiting.

Added note: The snow was pretty crusty/icy because the top layer had melted yesterday and re-froze during the night.

If anyone is going out that direction, let me know. I'm tempted to make the drive again.
