Who's ready for winter?

Check some of these out. These guys are taking it to some incredible new extremes.

Our hope is to have the Kitefreeze, the Kite Crossing, the Kites on Ice (Madison), as well as other events, on a ciruit this year so that some of these guys will be more interested in crossing the pond to compete. It was great having them show up for the Kitefreeze a few years back.

I'm sorry but the planning is starting now and I am psyched! November is going to be tough, if there is no snow or water.

Ooooooohhh, it sure eases the pain of winter - It really is fun to look forward to the cold!

Where can we find some tree-less hils like that to play on????

Chris was saying that he and Alex found a decent sized bump down near Rochester last Winter...

Anyone?

Chris and Alex,
I live in Rochester and really look forward to hearing where this "bump" is...with no lakes to kite in the immediate area here, I'm hoping to at least find a place close by to enjoy this winter!

I'm a rocher as well, well ok i'm moving to the little town of Elgin but it's close to rochester, and since i'm originally from Elgin and have a lot of family in the area i've been putting my feelers out and working on finding some good riding spots. I already have permission to ride a few areas that are smaller, 80 acres or less, but there are some much larger areas that i'm working on getting permission to ride as well. Hehe there are three connnected fields that i'll be riding a lot right across the road from the house i just bought and company is always welcome so hopefully we'll have some snow and decent wind. I'll definately put posts up as winter gets closer and if we keep working our asses off on this house like we have been i should have the hot tub and indoor pool ready as well so even if there isn't wind there will be water

NO WAY!!
I won't be done with the water for 4 months yet. Even with all the wind this summer, I have only been out a few times.

No sir, I will not give up on the water until I have to chop holes in it.

I did hear that the last time we had a summer like this, the following winter was cold and snowey

Stoked for winter but seeing as how my last day on the water in '03 was November 30th and '04 was December 12th (EPIC - I think Dave and Pete were on Pepin - Kevin O and I were at the Bear) we have a long way to go and a lot of string and pole boarding left to do.

Speaking of kites...notice all the Cabrinha's going cheap?? Neil Pryde Maui has a buy 2 05 kites get 2 free!
