Hi everyone, long winter no see.. too busy with the boys and hockey so didn't get to try kiting like planned..

Hey Mike,
Since Steve and Nancy are in S.P., I'll offer the answer of "No", Cedar isn't open yet. I was on it in a kayak yesterday and here is still a big sheet over the majority. Although it is pocked with holes, it is still 6"-8" thick. I would suspect it will be a few more days before the ice is out entirely.

To update for Mike, and anyone else that may care, Cedar (in WI) is fully open as of yesterday morning, April 10. As a point of interest:
