Missing Snowfer - reward

Post by Don S »

Sometime within the past week my newly acquired “snowfer” was stolen from my residence in Bloomington. For those of you unfamiliar with a snowfer, it’s basically used for the winter version of windsurfing. It’s made in Canada and sails on snow or ice with a standard windsurfing rig. (http://www.snowfer.com/) About 7 or 8 local windsufers purchased them in January.

My board is black with red lettering on the top and was in a grey bag with rhino windsurfing logo on the bag. I assume that someone thought it was a snowboard when they took it. The board has three positions for attaching a sail with a standard universal. My board has all three threads showing. All the other boards were shipped with plastic inserts to put in the two positions not being used.

I'm working on obtaining the serial number.

If you see one at a lake, pawn shop, etc. matching the description, please get a license # or info. for me. A reward is being offered. You can leave a message for me at 952-681-5096.

Bummer! There are not too many of those around. They might have found out that it wasn't what they wanted and dumped it near by. Have you had a look around the streets? Near or behind businesses with dumpsters etc?

I hope you find it.
