Cedar Covered

Post by steveb »

Chris B just called and said the cities got quite a lot of rain killing the snow.
It only rained 1/2 an hour here and started to snow again.
I walked out on the lake this evening and I'd say it's 100% covered. It ain't deep pow but it's adhered to the previous ice surface and will hold a good edge.
So if you have time to ride Friday and you want a decent surface, not too far from the cities, I think I can safely say Cedar would work.
Thought I should let you guys know after Chris called.

Hi Steve,

I'm considering coming up to Cedar today. Could you fill me in on where I can access the lake from? I've never been there before.

Thanks!
Chuck

Chuck . County Rd m runs on the east side of the lake. off the N.E corner of the lake there is a little frontage rd called cedar rd it's a 1/2 mile loop. my house is the 3rd down the rd, attached to the deck is a blue windsurfer sign. Most people go from there.
The is a little park on the north end at the junction of 10 th and m. And there is a park on the south end on county rd H close to Meisters bar.
I think there are a couple of people coming out in the p.m.
