Dooouuuugh!! 0-1"
I suppose it might be quite a bit further to the Brainerd Lakes Area...But me and Melissa were out today on 4" full coverage. We found some smooth stuff too, it was nice!!
Come on up guys, we will be out all day Friday...Offering a free guided tour of the serene, uncrowded Lakes Area Kite Scene...cell 218.838.0792

It's all about the RIDE!!
One thing stuck in my mind as I struggled to keep a consistent edge on my snowboard...Switchblade! I've never tried one but suspect it would have been the ticket today for sure.
We launched from the north end of the lake and rode out in the middle with, like Brian said, patches of fluff here and there. When it was time to quit and I got back to the launch I discovered that the best snow was right there at the north end of the lake. Like Jason said, Dooouuuugh!!
All in all it was fun, better on skis I'm sure and if I was able to get out again today I'd go to Cannon again.
Big thanks to Jim Lehman for bumming me his 7M Frenzy. The next time I purchase a kite it will be a depowerable foil! Up and gone in moments!
