Is there enough snow on Minnetonka for Kiting with skis? Will people be out there this weekend?

There is a about 1/2" to 1" on Tonka. It is not adhered to the ice so it will be very slippery on skis. Underneath the fresh snow is also a bunch of frozen crud (it's gonna hurt if you fall and slide on it). It is not the best of conditions. Skates would probably work better but it is too bumpy for them. The Switchbalde is probaly the best option at the moment (for the lucky people who have them).
Sorry to not have a better report, but you might as well hear the worst.
There aern't many options, locally. Heading North is about it. Maybe someone has some ideas.
