Does anyone use swivel bindings? Ever demo them? They are very intriguing and I might look at buying a pair, but I'm just wondering if anyone in the area has had any experience on them........

I've been wanting to buy an SUP but don't quite have the dough since we just bought a new house. I did however buy a Kahuna Big Stick for 'Land Paddling' on my longboard skate. This thing opened up a whole new way of riding and a great alternative on light wind days when kiting is out of the picture...

We (myself and Joe/madtrix) drove out from Bellaire around 5:30pm to a point that was about halfway across the bay to Mahtomedi Beach just before all the kites over there began to drop. We got in some great night riding, and I agree, the surfface on WBL is patchy but ridable. I'm planning for Ramsey...

Lake George is a good 4hr drive from MPLS. Pluss if you're up there near Leach, you'd probably get a cleaner wind.

Hey Tighe, where were you guys launching from? Randy's place? Bellaire? I drove out with my buddy Joe and we were right between Bellaire and Mahdomedi beach. Had my pink best 10m up. Great day out there but we're both craving big air, hoping to get a bigger kite soon for these light wind days.

Yeah, the surface is great until you get down to the the ice and loose the edge a bit. Flew a 10m from about 11-1:30 on the Mahtomedi side. Definitely need to get a bigger kite for light conditions as my hunger for air is growing!

Has any of this week's snow stuck to the ice? Hoping to get over to ramsey tomorrow or mahtomedi on Sat.
