Clear Lake, Iowa looks "perdy good" for wind for Sat. Nov. 8th NW wind around 20 mph
from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Come and get it! Air temp. at a balmy 45 degrees?
After Sunday this body of water WILL freeze over. It's definate dry-suit time!

Just two of us windsurfers were on Lake Pepin (at the Pt.) last Friday. The NW wind was just steady at 28-30 mph with gusts near 40. Pete was on JP 102 liter and started with 5.2 sail but switched early to a 4.5. I (Eric) just stayed with my 5.2 sail and 112 liter board. By the PT,,big rolling waves...

I got there (Acherman Lot) around 2:30 and the lot was overfilled beyond capacity. It was so great to see so many windsurfers and one kiter. No place for me. I drove away thinking I don't need to be there to represent windsurfing. But I drove to the other end of the lake (grassy area) rigged a Ezzy ...

I'm thinking 111 liter board sailing and 5.0 Ezzy!
Hopfully there'll be a lot of "People of the South Wind" there.
