Hey all, I recently signed up but am a bit worried about the low wind forecasted for this weekend. As I haven't been to the crossing in the last couple of years, what would happen to the event if a wind isn't strong enough? Postponed? Cancelled? other? Cheers!

There is typically quite a bit of kiting going at calhoun during this time of year. Snow was great the other week after the 4-5 inch storm we got, but haven't been out there recently. IMHO - It was warm today, but its going to freeze overnight and be cold. I would think the snow would be rock hard and might be difficult to kite on - thoughts?

So first time out this weekend and it was soooo fun!

BUT, i left my ice screw out on the south side of white bear lake. I doubt anyone ran into it/saw it, but in case you did i'd like it back!
