That little bit of water freezes fast in the winter and thaws fast in the spring.

My brother and I grew up just south of Fargo and go home to kite a bunch in the winter. My parents live across the road from a bunch of farm fields we ride all the time. Would love to get some other guys out there. Pently of room not a lot of terrain

I have a veloce 135 :wink: I learned to use the harness and footstraps, waterstarts, and how to execute crappy jibes with that board. I would definatly reccommend something in that size range. Totally agree with Steve on this one. I learned on a old-style mistral longboard while my brother, wife, and dad learned on a wide light air type boards. Who needs summer? This lake is heated by a power plant and is open 11 months out of the year. I've been to this lake in early April and was fine in a wetsuit.
