Re: Stand Up Paddle Board Dealers?

I have two brand new ones right now that can be had at a great deal. I have the tomahawk sockey and karno at the moment. Shoot me a email if you want to check them out. Link in my signature. I'm not sure if I'll be ordering any more and continuing to sell them so these may be the last ones I have.

Re: Only thing worse than landboarding...

I bought an extra set of tires for my board so I could put ice spikes in them. Haven't gotten around to doing it yet......

But I'm hoping it works.

Re: Searching for snow...

I was in ely for my valentines day. And the lakes there that I was on seemed to have really good coverage. And over the weekend about 4" more came down. There is a good crust but that was sufficiently covered with fresh. I was just dogboarding but wishing I had my kite with.

Re: Support kiters sign online petition

MikeyG, hey man! yea you could put on some miles and its fun to snowkite/camp! Unfortuantly you can not have kites in the BWCA, tried a few winters back we def could of snuck in like others(heard the ozone crew did) but I respect what they got going and Ive been going there for 20 some years I'm no...

Stoked!!!

I'm new to kiting. This summer I picked up a 4.5m ozone imp to use as a trainer kite. I chose that as I wanted something with 4 lines so it would be similar to setting up a bigger kite. And also big enough to pull me around in the winter a little. I've had a few, what I would call less them successf...

Re: surfboards?

I'm only learning to fly a kite but have been surfing for the last 3-4 years. I would think for the average person a typical shortboard style with a thruster fin setup would be ideal for kite use. As these boards were designed to be used on more powerful waves (kite provides the power in this case)....

Re: VW Westfalia

I've owned 3 vanagons and one of which was a westy. Check out http://www.thesamba.com there is more info there then you would ever want to read. The reason the prices vary so much is pretty much because so does the condition and options. For example a syncro (4x4) westy from a southern state in good...

Spots to fly a trainer kite in the north metro?

Hello All,

I'm looking for some good open places in the north metro to get my trainer out and put some hours on it.

I live in forest lake so anything close that you know of would be really appreciated.

Thanks
Danny
