milly thursday?
Anyone thinking about it? I am too green to not have big sandy shallows, it allows me to kite instead of flounder in the water, especially when I drop the kite, which is a guarantee.

Wetsuit advice
I need to buy a wetsuit asap as I am going to SoCal on Wednesday. Need suggestions on the most versatile suit, and a place that might have one locally.
Thanks
Ryan
Thanks

Freestyle and big air for sure...not that I would enter, I nearly broke myself trying threes at the island this afternoon. I'd consider sponsoring some prizes as well for one or maybe both contests. hit rahlberg_at_ahlberglaw_dot_com to discuss details.

Re: Maui advice
Yeah, I called one of the schools and told them my stats and the guy basically said to leave the 14m at home, which is what I'm going to do. 9m should be fine unless its really light or really nukes, in which case i'll go rent a surfboard. Brings into question the whole quiver issue. 9/14 has worked...

Re: Maui advice
Yeah, my plan is to buy a nsi or slingshot bag then wear my wedding suit on the plane. I figure its highly unlikely they will question that I am a golfer.

Maui advice
So I'm headed to maui for a wedding and turned it into a kite trip. But I need some advice: I rode out at Cape Hatteras in July and felt good on my 145 SS board and 14 TD2 in 15 to 25. I rode around on a 9 as well but now there is a tear in the main strut. Should I try and get the 9 repaired or just...

Re: Utah in springtime
Brian S. from Windzup was telling me that they usually get a late April/early May storm. They ride into may but it can get pretty bare.

Re: Transition to Water
Thanks, I can't do Padre cause I just spend a week at Skyline and then mistakenly went to Vegas. I'll stick to Malmo. So sideshore is best? What wind direction is that up there? Technically, I've been up on a board before, but it was five years ago, and I was just learning how to fly the kite. Kind ...

Transition to Water
I just want to put this out there and maybe get some info. Basically, after two seasons on snow, I want to get into the water. Kite flying won't be the problem, but water starts, planing, etc. will be. So, once I'm geared up for water, where is the best spot to get wet and do the old trial and error?

Utah in springtime
I was just out at skyline during the second half of March. For anyone who desires a change of pace from lake snowkiting, you need to go out there. Ultimately, the terrain makes flying kites in lighter winds a bit more challenging, but it adds a ton to the sport. Plus, even if there are no storms, yo...

If theres significant snow, I would be willing to hit up some fields. I plan on staying off the lakes though.

Winday's aside, I'm too new to know the best metro/near metro spot for Sat.'s winds. Would love to go to the Duluth event or Milli, but have something going on Sat. night. Thoughts?
