I tried but that storm moved in FAST. I had just finished setting up my 12 when the white moved through. After that the wind was too silly for the twelve. Thanks to the skier that helped me deflatge my kite. I ended up going to another lake with a 2 meter and had a great time

Any thoughts on Theodore Wirth Lake? It's in a small valley just off of Glenwood in Minneapolis just outside of Golden Valley. Still snow on the lake with an easy access beach with plenty of parking. It was about 6:30 when I packed up my second kite. I also learned a ton from Jeff. Thanks again for the pointers on wind/kite control. I knew getting into the sport i would love it and don't regret buying "more advanced" kites. I will say that I should have launched my 16 meter a tad farth...

Can I get anyone to meet up with me on Calhoun? I usually can't get out there till after work but I can be ON THE LAKE at 5pm ready to roll. I am looking to meet up with any one who has actually gone more than 10 times as teaching myself is getting old.
