The NOAA RUC aka "Experimental" forecast sites have been down for at least a couple days. Anyone know anything about this? Have they moved to a new web address?

Does anyone know if this meeting will be limited to windsurfing concerns, or will it include discussion of broader issues, like commerecialization of a currently peaceful and park-like area of the lake? Also, will Park Board members/staff be participating, or just the Yacht Club?

Here's what I've found so far on the DNR website: "Notice DNR boat launch on northeast side of Lake Waconia under construction September 20, 2004 - November 20, 2004. The construction team will keep the launch open as much as possible, but the site may be closed for periods during construction....

Anyone have any info on the construction project now underway at the Waconia boat launch/parking lot? Especially whether or not cars parked in the lot will be (or have been) ticketed during the construction.

Both the existing boat launch (refectory) and "South Beach" are in City Council Ward 10. Dan Niziolek is the council member. The boundary between Wards 10 and 13 is the parkway that connects Lakes Calhoun and Harriet. Ward 13 includes Thomas Beach, as well as the Linden Hills and West Calh...
