Luke and I windsurfed Helmer Myre some 12-15 years ago. We launched at the wide part of the lake just before entering the campground. All went well until we blew our jibes and discovered that farthur out the water was only 2 feet deep then your feet sunk into bottomless muck which, when disturbed, smelled distinctly like the sewage treatment plant. Fall flat and keep your feet up!!!! Randy Johnson may have some better advise as to where to sail.

Thanks Terry,
Well, maybe with the latest rainfall they got up to 4-5 feet deep.
We'll see tommorow.
