Darlene are you still in florida? Are you staying in the keys?

Judd and I are heading to Clearwater Beach in a couple of weeks. We don't plan on going to the keys but Jim N thought you might be in the gulf area.

I just got back from the Keys last night, there was unusually great wind (9M) for 4.5 of the 9 days. We had an oceanfront house in Islamorada, just 2 miles from Anne's Beach. Unfortunately I didn't do any kiting because I sprained my ankle playing volleyball 3 weeks ago. I just started walking without crutches a couple days ago. I did check out 6 kite beaches though: Anne's Beach & Whale Harbor in Islamorada, Bahia Honda State Park (just south of the 7 mile bridge), Smather's Beach in Key West, Key Biscayne & Matheson Hammock Park in South Miami. I really liked Key Biscayne in Miami, I may spend 6 months/year in that area. I really like flat water. The winter temperatures in Hatteras range from 40-70. You would think coming from Minnesota that this would seem warm. But whenever it's less than 60, I wish I was somewhere warmer. Hope you have fun in Florida Judd & Dianne! And thanks for the text Jim!

sorry to hear about the ankle. I went to the dominican one year and took out my knee playing volleyball, volleyball is tough on the joints.

are you in hatteras? have a good season.
