I need help understanding windguru. If you scroll down you get to Nam something which has a much different forecast. IE, Wed aft top line has wind in single digits, down under Nam it reads 19-22. ? Can we vote on which forecast we prefer?! :lol:

Anybody? Ok, specifically, what's the difference between NAM 12km 12 UTC and GFS 06 UTC? Why are they so different? Thanks.

Nancy -- click the help tab on the windguru page and go to forecast models for an explanation of differences. In summary it sounds like the NAM are more accurate sort term.
