new Lakawa logo

Tighe,

Looks like you updated your logo- I can see a kite, a sail, and a wave in it. Nice work.

... or maybe I finally just took a closer look at it. Either way, I now understand it.

I think that is new. Looks good... clean and illustrative. Nice work Tighe.

Whoa! It caught my eye right away. That is a great logo - I don't say that very often.

Nice work. Say, who's work is it?

Wow, you guys are observant. I think that first post went up within an hour of putting it up. It's been on the wish list for far too long.

I designed quite a few options and after a very loose market research...bouncing it by new riders and riders who have been with LAKAWA from back in the day when it was LAWA, this one was the clear winner.

I'll have some paraphernia with the new logo up at the lake tomororow.

I'm glad you like it.

:DSend me a vector file or blk/wht hard copy and I will produce decals for anyone who wants them from my graphix shop. Free of course. Unless you already have a source. Good time on Washington Sat. couldn't do the distance for the Gathering with limited weekend free time.

Tighe, I like the new logo, but I'm wondering why you chose to portray a swimmer doing the crawl while trying to throw a boomerang. I don't understand.

I always knew you saw the world a bit differently than most Dave.

I'll contact some Australian Swim schools and see if they are in need of a new logo.

Thanks to Peter, and our new 12 yr old rockstar Max, I've got some great looking stickers. Thanks guys.

Find me at the lake and take your pick of color. Dress up your vehicle, your board, a breast, whatever.

If we don't cross paths often and would prefer one in the mail, just shoot me your address. fly at lakawa dot com.

thanks Peter and Max
