If you can get out this morning around here you'll get some wind but this afternoon looks weak in twin cities. There is still an orange blob around Mille Lacs at 2pm and it still looks good (2 flags) there at 4. I'm hoping to head up there at 11:30 after church and arrive at 1 ish. Let me know if you can make it up there. I'll check LAKAWA or give me a call at home 651-766-7508 or on my cell 612-770-9670.

On straight west wind it's straight on-shore at Hunters but that's still the best spot right? I know if it went at all to the NW Izaty's would be better and if straight nw Fath Henn is call but Izaty's isn't best spot if straight west right?

Kevin,
With a bit of south still in it, Hunters is awesome. With the water as cold as it is, it's also probably the safest since you're blown to shore in the event of breakdown.
Yes, it kind of feels like one of those Mille Lacs days and I and possibly Ryan will join you in the early pm.

Definitely feels like a Mille Lacs day. Don't know if I can make it, though. What's with the local weather? It definitely looks like it will peter out around the cities shortly after noon.

Hope to see you boys at Hunter's.

Hunter's do have no parking signs where we used to park and rig. Please respect the property owner's there.

I might head a little farther N. at Malmo Park or Carlsona Beach which is 2mi. west of Malmo. Advantage of slight sideshore for ease of launch. All areas are within 6 mi., so I'll be checking ea. site.

Ride on.
