A nice sized group had some good windsurfing on Lake Washington. Most guys were on mid 5M. Jeff G took out a 4.4 or 4.2 for awhile but it wasn't quite enough. The Litchfiled airport history was showing around 15-25 most of the day with some gust higher. It was a little puffy but there were times during the day when it filled in well. Everyone had a good time.
I was looking at the Faribault history and it looked like wind down around Cannon was stronger on average like 20+ to 30+
How did it go elsewhere? Was there a crowd at Wac or WBL?
today looks windy down south.
Sunday sessions?

Sunday, The Bear was up and down, but I sailed a 6.6 from 1 to 4 and it was mostly just right. And well, gosh, even when it wasn't, who would complain?! (Man those Loft sails handle the gusts SO WELL!) Rustiness kept about 50% of my too-aggressive, or not-aggressive enough jibes from going quite as planned, so the water temps were perfect for equalizing the drysuit temperatures. The usual crowd was there, and I was glad to see Coach about 15' in the air as usual. Great to be out again!
Loft O2 6.6
I was the other guy out on the Bear last Sunday Apr. 13 with the 2003 Loft O2 6.6 and my old Mistral 90 liter board. I weigh around 150 lbs. and I love to sail overpowered. I don't work for Randy (The House) but I am sold on this new camless design. I was very impressed with how this sail could be trimmed flat and reponded well to the gusts. Until now, I only used cambered sails for sizes larger than 5.5
p.s. Randy, you can send me my commissions anytime. Just kidding.
