WIND...SNOW...ICE

Post by JERRY »

Out west 1 hour from Litchfield it is 30 degrees, windy and snowing. 4" snow expected :) See radar and ikitesurf.com :o

I'm bringing my junk(gear & funhogmobile) to Lake Ripley, south edge of Litchfield.

Promise not to hog it all :P

Jerry, when are you heading out? Can I give you a call for a condition report? Cell?

I'm 24 mi. from area now. Just assuming what conditions will be like. It's windy here now at home east of Litchfield. My ETA for there will be 10:30 AM. I plan on parking on SE side of lake which is just South of Campground which is next to Public access and beach. I have no cell phone.

The West side of this lake looks promising for those summer NE-E-SE winds. There is a park with large grassy rigging areas and open lake shore.
