I'm heading up to spend thanksgiving with the family , wondering if I should bring the kites?

so how cold is it? is it frozen yet?

doo it bring the kites. The water is going to be fridged but it's only a foot deep over the sand bar... not to much to worry about. I am thinking about heading out there (if there is a south wind)

I would like to hit it also, it would be nice to ride post turkey day. are you up for it if its a west wind?

The lake froze on Saturday night. It was 13F and still. The ice went as far as one could see. I expect that the warm weather and some wind will soften things up for the week-end.
P.S. Sunday there were hundreds of swans sitting on the ice near Malmo. That evening they rose flock by flock and headed for wintering grounds in Chesapeake Bay.
