Kite ski opener on Birch Lake!

Went up to my ma's for T-day and brought my kites along just in case and low and behold there was ice and snow on the lake she lives on. (Birch Lake in Hackensack, MN) I smashed about 10 holes all over the lake and never hit less than six inches, so I guess it was safe enough to kite on. I don't think the locals had ever seen a kite before. It was lovely on T-day, but today(Fri) I needed a much smaller kite with the 35mph+ gusts rolling through and the krunkin' wind blew all the snow off of the lake. But there's hope it'll be here (cities) soon.
