Hey Pete. Thanks for the Pepin update. Where do you check to decide on a launch or do you just wait til you see the lake?

So what if the temp is only 38, the water must be a nice balmy 40.
May see the hard-core (slightly cracked) guys at pepin friday.
Please post intended launches cause it would be stupid to be out alone.

Launch choice

It would be nice to have wind on Pepin. As far as launch choice, if the wind is WNW ~ Pepin Wisconsin is incredible. If the wind is NW ~ The Point in Lake City is a better choice. Check the current winds before heading out and make your decision in Red Wing. I may hit Welch Village for a while before going to get wet.
