Lots of snow down south

Post by Tighe »

It was weird leaving the Twin Cities with barely a dusting of snow and heading south in a massive white out. Faribault was about 5 inches when I arrived and during the course of the day added about another 3-4.

The snow was great. The wind was super gusty unfortunately...note to self...Cannon not so good on ENE wind.

Fun day in the white out though, just hangin and trying to ride.

Tomorrow morning there may be an early session. The wind looks to die with the day. : (

Cannon was fun, after a slippery drive to get there. The smooth snow made up for the bumpy wind. It was great to turn my snowboard and not hear my edge scrape. On my first run out I turned to come back and I couldn't see where I came from, not even my tracks.

I don't know how early you are going out, but I may go to Calhoun from 7 to 9.
