Heading to the Gorge July 28th for 4 days. What kind of swimwear do I need to bring? Shorty, full wetsuit?

Depends on your fat content and how fast you can swim with in.

(don't follow my advice)

I'm in board shorts and fleece top from Mid June to whenever.

to be safe, stroke out a few hundred yards, do a roll over, then stroke back in. I think most good swimmers would be fine with a shorty in late July.

You'll be suprised how nice the water is for swimming!

I just got back from 2 weeks in the gorge, on some of the cooler days I wore my full wetsuit but was a little to hot in it and on the hot days I wore just my shorts but it was a little cool. I could of sailed every day in just a shortie and been fine.
