Split Rock Lighthouse Windsurfing is there some decent areas, I am going up there this weekend 5/28/2004 Friday to Monday, and will probably bring some gear.

Thanks for advice,

There are a whole lot of places you can launch out of. Not all of them are that easily accessible. The other problem is the rocky North Shore... There are definitely some offshore underwater boulders to contend with. Keep your eyes peeled.

That being said, if the wind direction is right you can find some righteous sailing. Definitely bring the gear. Some folks think this weekend will produce some good NE wind up there, which will open up the whole North Shore as your playground.

A couple of launches: Gooseberry Falls (park pass required, Very rocky launch, not the easiest to get out of), Grand Superior Lodge shoreline, and more.
