Lake is 90% snow free with the hardest, blackest, slipperyest ice I have expeienced out here. There are some landmines to deal with though. A lot of the snow patches have frozen slush hidden inside so when you hit them at 70 mph, you get multiple surprises! The wind was too strong for me yesterday but today should mellow out later.
