Long boards are easier to H20 waterst. then short boards

Post by Quetzalcoatl »

It seems to me that Longer boards are easier to waterstart than short ones. Whenever I'm out in big wind or light air, my long boards allow me time to get up
onto the board without (rounding up so fast) when waterstarting.

I was out on my F2 103 liter (fairly skinny board (57 cm. wide ) but fairly long at 277cm. It was so sweet..to have the little extra time to get up onto the board without it instantly rounding up
into the wind the way my short boards (248cm to 250) tend to do.

Just my "Deep thoughts."
