Dry Suit is off for rest of Sp/Sum.now it's 4mm. wetsuit tym

Post by Quetzalcoatl »

Last Saturday (May 13th) at Worthington I sailed very comfortabley in 5 mm wetsuit.

So...I think Drysuit season is over! (until November). Still it's a good idea to wear a "thick" wetsuit.

At least a 4mm throughtout suit. No 3/2 wetsuits and No 3.2% beer either! A 3/2 wetsuit will NOT protect form Hyporthermia if you have gear breakdown out in
middle of the lake.

It's better to be overheated (you can always jump in and cool off) than to die of hypothermia.

Remember the Kiteboarder/windsurfer motto: "Dress for the swim in, not for the sail out."

Also: I don't want to hear this line: Shall I wear a shortie? Shall I wear a necktie? Maybe in August!

Quetzalcoatl out.
