The Carisma of the Bic Techno 283 windsurf board:

I've turned over three Bic 283 boards to windsurfers in my time.

Each of the sailors informed me that the first try-out session on the Bic 283 board

was one of immediate planning action! This is a great testament to the "Carisma"
that the Bic Techno 283 board has. The little sister (Bic 273) is great too...but requires
a little more wind around 18-20 to get up planning and a good sized sail like a 6.0 in 20 mph.

Ahh...but the Bic 283...a "Classic" for sure. Maybe there'll be a Windsurf board Hall of Fame where it

shall be represented.
