Terrain of Spirit Lake, IA

Post by Matt V »

Looks like Spirit Lake will be getting some more of the goods on Saturday night.

The terrain spots are epic and definitely worth honing your skills on before you hit the mountains out west like Wyoming or Utah. Heck, I left Utah to kite these spots. I am headed up to hotel-del-walmarto-parkingloto Saturday evening and will be car camping for the duration. Look me up if you have the skill to tackle terrain. Please note that not all areas are friendly to crashing an inflatable on (plum brush....etc). Foils are best for the ugliest and tightest spots, but a skilled tubie kiter should have no problem.
