Mill Lacs looks excelent for Saturday afternoon! New soft snow surface looked to be holding up well on th web cams Fri evening. Good SSE wind and warm sun in the afternoon. Garrison looks to be the best area. I should be there by 2:00pm.
On Sunday the wind and sun look much better at Wild Rice Lake in Duluth. It also got new snow Thursday on a good base. Launch at Rice Lake Dam Road on the NE corner of the lake. Right now that is my plan for Sunday morning through early afternoon.
Still some great riding to be had. Who's going North this weekend?

Best day of the season! 6-8 inches of supper soft butter smooth snow on top of a great firm base. Great steady wind for great boosting. It doesn't get any better. Still time to make it for sunset.
