Thanks to John, Brian, and Dean for going to Father Hennepin yesterday. I had an absolute blast riding the waves all afternoon on a Slingshot Celeritas 5'11" that Randy Lindorff let me try. I also got to use my new (used) Rally 10m for the first time. When that kite first went in the air it felt like a toy kite it was so light compared to my old TD3 but I was really impressed with it's range, super fast speed, and especially the loft and hang time on jumps. Definitely an upgrade over those T3 which left me wondering why did I wait so long to upgrade.

The waves set up great down between the two boat landings - nice big glossy swell that went at just the right speed so I could latch onto one wave and just ride it for blocks cutting back and forth on the waves thanks to that board and fast kite.

I loved the warm summer but the nice cold blows of fall are so fun because the winds are good and the water is so warm still.

I realized last night I think I left my $5 dog leash screwed in the ground at FH. If anyone grabbed it let me know otherwise I guess we need another good norwester so I can go back... When the wind is WNW or NW at FH the dog leash works great for self-launching.

Rest up today more great winds all over tomorrow!
