Crossing Camping

Post by mattrau »

Hey guys, just wondering where/when the tents will begin to set up for the crossing. I have never camped for the event, and wondering how the whole thing has worked in the past.

I'll get there on friday and will set up my tent that evening. I think people will set up camp near the road where people are parking for kiting.

I'm guessing it will be around here.

Bring a warm sleeping bag or two!

And a swim suit. You can hot tub at the garrison inn for $5! It is worth it.

Bryce, are you planning on parking out on the ice? I am not caught up on the ice thickness, and it would be nice to not have to schlep gear out there from the car.
