Lake Minnetonka late Tuesday night/Wed mng

Post by markdbliss »

Anyone planning on heading out to lake Minnetonka when the winds are up around 14mph on late Tuesday evening? I'm going to head out, a little west of Kite Island where the winds are a little more unobstructed.

I might be able to break free. Winds look to pick up as early as 7pm and stick around through the night. Forecast is showing peaks around 13mph. Yesterday we rode in about 9 mph wind from 1:30pm until the dark of night.

Maybe I'll bring some swag recently in. Not trying to poach sales, just proud of it:)

Nice stuff, but got neck strain from tilting head to the left.

I'm seeing a bit higher forecast near 16mph.

I hope to be on the south side of the big lake by about 8ish.

ride on.

What an amazing session! John Z, Scott C, Mike B, and I played well into the night. Mike was taking insane speed runs on the ice road that veered downwind. I was singing away carving up fresh tracks in the champagne snow.

Thanks for the idea, the sweet location and the cold beer John. What a great night.
