Bill and I watched a squall like this come across Byllesby 2 years ago. The wind went from very light breeze to 35-45mph instantly. Scott was schlogging on a 4.7 when it hit, then was maxed out. We rode for 3 hours on 3.5s. We thought it was dust rolling along.

Not a good thing if you are on a kite.

You see this alot at McConoughy in west ne - watching a wall cloud drop - then ya see the sand kick up on the far side - then ya see the wind line - then ya put your beer down and hold onto everthing you got before it ends up in brule - It usually happens after long day of no wind - so generally your in no condition to do anything but get sand blasted - someday I gotta stay focused enough to sail one of these . . . . .
