What do you all recommend for a harness to use for snow kiting? Thanks!

It really depends on what you are comfortable with, I wear the nitro harness all the time, it really saves my back, but most people wear the regular waist harness, again it's really a preference. Ozone makes a really nice snowkiting harness, you should check it out you might be interested in that?

I use the Dakine Storm. I like the hook height, the minimalist feel and it doesn't ride up. Waist harnesses can have a tendency to ride up due to the slipperyness of each layer of clothes. Many love em though and usually wear them under their jackets. Aaron of Mnkiting developed a cool zipper attachment that gives a hole for your hook.

As Scott pointed out, it's all personal preferences.

Dakine Fusion is a bit bulkier, but adjustable for both water and snow and gives very good support (for me anyway.)

I use a Dakine Fusion and it feels like a big supportive diaper with extra padding in the rear. I use it without a spreader bar pad too. If you go with the less bulky Storm, you will need to use a spreader bar pad because it does not have as much padding built in to the harness.

I love my Dakine fusion. The padding around the hips is nice if you go down on your side on hard ice. But some only like waist harnesses. Depends on riding style.

The seat harnesses tend to offer better support and have less spreader bar movement when jumping. The waist harnesses may be less cumbersome and offer greater mobility in the legs. Some might think the waist harnesses look cooler and they prefer to initially buy them over the seat harnesses because that's what the pro kitesurfers use. If support is a priority then choose the seat harness, if mobility and tricks is a priority then go with the waist harness; it's all personal preference. For me the seat harnesses feel more comfortable.
