How much flood debris is there to dodge?
Could you tell?

I saw a ton of debris pooled on the shoreline at one park. Heading out now.

Here's a large pile of debris, picture taken on Thursday. I did get a good session in today and the debris on the water was not bad at all.
Water is pretty high at the moment.

Pete, thanks for the pics! Do you reckon a kite could be launched down there with conditions as they are? Isn't there a south facing beach in a park that would work, or would it be too flooded out?

I'd say your only bet there would be Hok-si-la Park. The beach faces SE but I have no idea how much real estate is currently available. Otherwise, launching a kite from the rest area where I was sailing at would pretty much be out of the question. The other beach I have mentioned in the past is completely flooded.
