Anyone been on Calhoun lately? Conditions? Is it edge-able?

Was out on the SE side of Calhoun yesterday. Snow is thin and blown off. Lots of bare ice patches which makes it hard to edge. I was on a snowboard and found myself riding back and forth through small section with snow while trying to avoid the icy patches. Would have been better with skis.

I'm amazed at the variety of conditions around the area. You wouldn't think they'd vary as much.

Yeah I ended up going out yesterday evening as well (orange manta). The middle of the lake had better snow, wind was decent. I was satisfied with a sunset session.
