Good idea - let's get a ROLE CALL going!!!

Portland Pete and I will be there from the 22nd - 29th. Still trying to talk Jeff G. into going.

Still interested in housing on Padre Island if someone is interested in going in on a condo or whatever.

Come on Padre ! Right now Im planning on taking a work gig in Plano which would allow me to hit South Padre on Friday the 13th - what could possibly go wrong with that scheme. That leaves me looking for lodging from the 13th - 20th. Heather and her 2 lil ones will join me on the 20th - 27th when they fly home. Which leaves me again looking for solo lodging from 27-29th. ANyone driving down have extra room for Door board ?

I'll be down there 11/21-28 with my whole family :D. Can't wait! I hope there are good waves. Rob, I think we could take your board too. No extra room for bodies though.

Water temps in the laguna are still 78, gulfside low 80s right now :D http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/dsdt/cwtg/wgof.html

To ride from the North Flats, is there a fee or sticker I need to buy?

Barry. You have to buy a membership for the Padre windsurfing and kiting club. Last year it was $25 for the year. The money goes into the fund that keeps the beach open and private for windsurfers and kiters. They give you a sticker which goes on the windshield .

You can buy them at the kite stores or there's a chap on the beach called Jibber. He'll be among the windsurfers and any of them can point him out for you. He has a white van with a flat trailer loaded with windsurfers. He's always there.

I'm going to around that time also! I have to figure out the exact dates... but at least the 21-29th

And a friend or two is coming down from Colorado. Anyone know anyone who is driving down from colorado and wants to share a ride (and they don't have any kiting gear so it would be easier to fit them in)??

Going down just after the LaKaWa crew (Nov 6-15 them), Nov 10-15 me.

Any of you that are going down early gonna drive and have any room for a surfboard or a few flattened kiteboards? Happy to help pay for their gas... Would LOVE to try to spend some quality time to learn how to ride a surfboard when down there.

Has Sun Country stepped up their vigilance for "golf" bags that are under 5', 50#, but not golf stuff?

Thanks Rob man, as I've been slammed recently, so not been on here much.

Yes, the rumor is true that Jodie and I will be there Nov 24-29, and I can't wait. I am not sure I even remember how to kite

Anyone have room for a best board bag? I will help pay for gas for its travel. Drop me a line at michaelTnelson AT yahoo DOT com if you do.

Can't wait!!!!
