Maybe a hot tub would help.

Post by Jeff G »

I was really hoping to get some kiting in this weekend. Do you think we could rent a portable hot tub and park it in the lot at Waconia? Not sure how well it would work with dry suits. Otherwise the poor man's hot tub..a big cooler full of hot water..works pretty good to thaw frozen extremities. Jerry, do you think a hot tub could be factored into the equation? Wind speed+temperature x 1.3 (hot tub adjustment factor)=70 would be good to go?

You must have been talking to Tom about this. I think it's a great idea. Instead of putting our money into an organization, let's pool our money and use it toward a portable hot tub. I think we could use one this weekend.

Either way, I'm going to brave the elements and head somewhere this weekend. There's nothing like a cool, crisp autumn (or winter feeling) day to make you feel totally alive. I've always wanted to kite in open water during a snowstorm.

I'm going to try and put my sauna on the back of a trailer and park it out on the ice this winter. That will be dreamy! :D

A portable hot tub would be nice. Propane powered with a quite generator for power. Maybe it should be big and on a pontoon. That way level three certified beer drinkers can loft into the tub warm up and loft back out without the need to land and relaunch the kite or even take your board off. Some one get on that it needs to be anchored off Malmo tommorow.

Damn I'm only a level two certified beer drinker. I'm sure I'd be a level three but I haven't taken the test. Who can give me lessons???

Bryce....Judd, in his day he was quite the expert. He's slipped a little now he's older.
We actually have a tub that could be brought to the lake easily. The problems power and the time it takes to heat the water.

Oh ya, I forgot about those details. Plus, would we just use lake water? Sounded good though.

don't give up on this yet. http://www.hottubnfun.com 952.474.0002 + generator = yes!!

I'll need to go through the beer certification course with Bryce. that's 2 paying clients for any business savvy person. Not sure what you'll get paid in but we'll find something of value.

I HAVE NO PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, but have heard that if you stand on your head, wee in your drysuit, and then ask your friends to pummel you around the limbs & torso, that the effect is about the same. Volunteers?
