Searching for wind? Blowing tunes at Whiskey Junction

Post by Randy »

Looks like we gotta make some wind to get wind this weekend. If you're free and into the the blues, come on out to the Whiskey tomorrow night (Friday, 8:30pm). I'll be making wind blowing trumpet and harmonica, Jonathan Townsend will be laying down the beat, and Ride will be making the wind invocation. We've always enjoyed the great energy of like minded wind enthusiasts. There's a harmonic that makes the music. Hope some of you can make it.

Ride...you can't stop the wave, but you can learn to ride it!!

I caught Ride at the Whiskey on Wednesday night a few weeks back and thouroughly enjoyed the sets. Allot of talent on that stage that will keep you entertained for hours, hoping to make the treck down Friday night as well. If you like the blues sytlings of Ride you may also want to check out another local blues band of Dee Miller. Support your local music !!

Planning on it myself tonight. Jeff bring my sleeves if you can. I might need to cry on them if there is no wind this weekend and even more if it happens on Monday when I am committed...

Hey Randy - Just a quick thank you for letting me crash your gig... (this is Dave the harp player)
You sounded great - I loved the mix of stuff you do!
Also a quick thanks to Scott Chapman for passing along the invite!

Let me (us) know when you're playing again!

The pleasure was ours. Like I said, there's nothing finer than looking out at a bunch of other smiling wind/music enthusiasts. There was a tremendous amount of history in the room. Thanks to those of you who made it out. Bryan, you get the enthusiasm award. Dave, dug your harp. Now we just have to sit back and see if we cooked enough juice into the atmosphere to create a little wind.
