Millacs Ice Off

When does the ice usually go away on Millacs? My guess will be it will be off the lake by 5-1-09, anyone else have a guess?

I would place my bet on 4/25 this year.


According to the DNR the 51 year average is 4/21.

Looking at the cameras it still looks pretty thick?

I was there last week-end. The bays are starting to open up and the ice is pretty soft near shore. It should break up this week and be clear a few days after that if the warmth holds.
