hey, winds look good tommorow!! i want to get out to Rice Lake, or maybe even Turtle Lake, if im lucky. but, i would like a few friends..... and Rice, Centerville, Reshanau, or Marshan are really close to me, and are the lakes i will ride usually all the time. If anybody is in for coming out to kite for a few hours, please reply quick! that way i can give you some directions to what lake i will be at.

I will be interested in joining up with you next week and could go Wednesday or Thursday. I live nearby in North Oaks and so any of those lakes is nearby. Logan, my son, and I are just getting into the sport. We purchased a couple of slingshot kites and are learning how to use them, so it would be nice to go out with someone with experience.
Are there many other kiteboarders in the Northern suburbs?
how old is your son? i am 15, and am really stoked about kiting. anytime you guys wanna hook up this week, email me. i will be available to ride any time all through next week, due to break.
i was out today, and had a sick session on rice lake. i went back and forth, super powered, and was ripping across the snow from "coast to coast" in undser 5 minutes per lap. it was pyscho!

i am really the real pro in our neck of the woods just kidding but gram i would have someone a little more experenced with u guys just a thought but be careful ansd hope u had a good christmas dude i got a new kiting board so yuppy now i will be able to shred!!! the pro hahaha max
North Oaks folks i would really consider taking lessons before u do anything just because u could really hurt yourself or someone else. and those kites are really spendy and would hate to see it all torn up or worse popped tighe might give u lessons i really suggest it!! be safe!! and have fun
It has been a couple of years since my lesson, so it is hard to remember all the details. Logan is 17 years old and likes snowboarding and wants to learn how to kiteboard, so I plan on teaching him. We bought a 4m kite for training along with a 9m Ranger. I appreciate the safety advice and I'll leave it up to you if you want to be on the lake with a couple of newbies.
I'll touch base with you guys when we are back from Florida on Tuesday. We plan to go out on Wednesday and Thursday.
yeah no worries man, max and i can show you some of the stuff, but wear some protective gear and plan on doing a lot of kite work. if you have kite skills, then we can put you guys on the board. and BTW, i wont charge a penny for showing you/ teaching you some stuff. "courtesy of your new kiting buddy."
yeah, what lake do you plan on hitting wednesday/thursday? Rice Lkae is closest to me, so that is the most convenient.
