POLL: If you could only own 1 Kite in MN what would it be?

16 waroo
I still love my old '06 16 waroo. It gives me the "BEST" air with the floatiest landings, but I don't really fly anything else. I like my '06 12 m waroo on the snow. BTW, the 12 was the 1st waroo in the state! I still like to recall the day I first flew it at Ramsey. Denis & Mike flew it too. It was the only time I felt in control since starting to kite a year earlier. Those old C-kites and 2-line foils gave me a thrashing on a regular basis. I'm not sure I could have withstood much more punishment until the SLE's arrived!
Hmmmmm... No one kite can cover everything - at least not yet IMHO.
The Original XBOW 12 is an awesome kite - definitely a favorite - thanks for lending it to us for all that time, Denis!!!!
Still stuck on the C kites, so I'd go for a couple boards and a 15 Fuel - - good power on the low end and much better depower than the older models.
When it got really windy, I guess I'm back to Pole Boarding or watching the show

Dave Z,
You commented about the OKC peeps. I'm in OKC now and have spoken to a few of the locals. David Fudge is one of the Guru's here and he swears the XBow is the ferrari of the crop. A few days ago there were close to 2 dozens kites on the water. Good year round conditions here when you have a dry suit.
I couldn't bring my gear and haven't ridden here "yet" but Lake Hefner has world class winds the have hosted olympic sailing trials (and red water). Red comes from the red clay abundant in OK.
Nice post Avery. Now I'm thinking my next kite needs to be an 11 or 12.

over 800 views.......great post Avery
If I could only have one kite in MN it would be my 15 meter Best Waroo (2007).
I have had my most memorable rides and best jumps on that kite.
My wife Emily says the 19.5 meter Cabrinha Contra (2004) C Kite has been her favorite over all and that is her pick.
