This sounds like a great event. Will discussions on planning/prep/fundraising continue on the forum? I would love to stay in the loop and help in any way possible. My company would be able to make a small donation also to help.

I will be putting a small team together very shortly. The first hurdle is insurance. Without it we're dead in the water...or on the ice. I'm pursuing numerous leads. Once I get that locked down then I'll contact those of you who have expressed interest in helping out.

FYI.
KB4C is in the process of becoming a nonprofit entity. They may have it in place for our event which would allow us to piggy back on their infrastruture for donations. If not we'll go the route that they did for their first event, which was donating directly to other foundations like the John Wayne Foundation.

And yes, the development team would utilize Lakawa to generate stoke for this event.

I'm glad to see there is interest in this type of event. Let's show the world what we can do with our passion to raise awareness and dollars to help the battle against this desease.
