Us Canadians will not be able to make Worthington this year, due to a conflict in schedules in that our youngest son is having his first communion (June 10th). With my Woodette being a devout Catholic and myself needing all the 'church points' I can get (you never know when I may need to use them!) it will be highly unlikely that you'll see us on the start line. We will miss you all very much!
2008 will see the return of The Woody's in Worthington!!
damn, no Canadians.? ....what will happen to our international reputation?.....Can you send some Inuit as representatives as replacements?
The polar ice has retreated, the Lake & Sailboard Beach is the best it has ever looked!
Alas, I guess we'll fly the Canadian flag at half mast and have a moment of silence for you all. We look forward to the future when our paths cross again!

Could you post any information about the equipment swap that will be happening during the Worthington windsurfing event this weekend? I am interested in the time and location, and I could not find anything relevant on your website.
the equipment swap .......is the most unorganized part of our festival and regatta....In fact nobody is in charge of that aspect! Anarchy rules!
or perhaps better said; Bring with you, a magic marker and a piece of cardboard torn off a Budweiser beer carton. Make the most of your marketing expertise on Sailboard Beach (duct tape is essential to your signage)
Had our final meeting tonight for entertainment and stage presentation. It all went swimmingly....If you run across Cindy Morrison, Margaret Vosburgh, Marc Gustafson, Seth Gilbert during the weekend...let them know you appreciate their efforts (along with all the other committee members & volunteers!)
In the blur of all that goes on during this weekend, its the sailors that anchor this curiously festive event. We look forward with anticipation to your arrival.
