Not to be a buzzkill, but we all know how often NOAA overforecasts the wind. I see weather.com, accuweather and windfinder all saying 10-12 and NOAA and iLiesurf saying decent wind. Anybody have any insight that would help differentiate between the two? I think I'm running at about 50% payoff on my drives to Mille this year.

The noaa forecast for up in this area usually delivers... especially if it is just a day out. I've had good luck with Wunderground too and they are showing 10-15 (I think that means it could be gusting higher too).

And as we all know Milly can do some funny thing to the wind too.. sometimes boosting it up and sometimes bringing back down.

I think the best bet will be just to show up and play.
